Lordy Lordy Guess Who's Forty!!!!

I'd just like to take a moment to offer my condolences to my sister, Melanie, who officially goes "over the hill" today! When I asked Samaya how old Aunt Melanie was going to be, she simply replied, "OLD!" (She is so very wise for a three year old). HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEL!!!! I love you!

Love your eternally younger sister, Robby!

Happy Birthday Cousin Melanie. They say that 40 is the new 30. You still look great.

Good thing I am not self-conscious about my age...when I saw this post I could not believe it. I still say that Samaya was coached into saying that I was "old" (smile).

I am having a wonderful birthday. Waking up to the view and sound of the ocean in Coronado these past few days has been awesome...I may have to turn 40 again, if this is the type of treatment you get.

Nikki thank you so much for your kind words...it is nice to know some people still have respect for their elders (smile).

Thanks everyone...I am still celebrating (smile).

William & Kyllan: Welcome back...I am looking forward to seeing pictures and hearing all about the trip. I'm sure it was beyond amazing.

Damita: Thank you for backing me up on the "coaxed" theory. I would just like to add that the other day Robby told me that Samaya said that I was a teenager. Now, that she probably came up with on her own (smile).

SPECIAL NOTE FROM ROBYN:

She asked me to let everyone know that Ike's wrath made it all the way to Ohio. They experienced a terrible wind storm that knocked out their power and several trees in their neighborhood. Luckily there was no damage to their home. They are on day three without power, and she is going a little stir crazy. But, she says to let everyone know that she will provide updates and pictures when the power is back on (which they said could be up to a week from now). Hopefully it will restored sooner then that.

Thanks again for all the birthday wishes!!!!

Since someone hasn't updated her blog recently...I just wanted to let everyone that after five days without power...I think it was late Thursday night that it came back on.
